The full name of Hengyi Brunei PMB Project is the Da Mora Island Integrated Petrochemical Project, known as the flagship cooperation project between China and Brunei, a national “Belt and Road” key project, Zhejiang Hengyi holds 70% of shares, and Brunei Finance Sovereign funds under the Ministry hold 30% of the shares. The first phase of the project covers a total area of 260 hectares. The project plans an annual oil refining capacity of 8 million tons, including 1.5 million tons of paraxylene, 500,000 tons of benzene, and nearly 6 million tons of gasoline and diesel oil. The second-phase investment of nearly US $ 10 billion is planned to add 14 million tons / year of crude oil processing capacity, including 1.5 million tons / year of ethylene and 2 million tons / year of para-xylene.
